Why does OffHours need Notification Access?
Android requires Notification Access so OffHours can identify eligible Gmail alerts and keep them quiet during a schedule. OffHours does not sign in to Gmail or read your mailbox.
An account is not being identified
Open OffHours, choose Accounts, and select the account again with Android's account chooser. If Gmail does not include an account identifier on an alert, OffHours leaves that alert visible.
VIP or urgent messages are not coming through
Premium must be active. Check the address, domain, or keyword for spelling, then send a new test message after saving the exception. Existing notifications are not reprocessed.
Restore a Premium purchase
Install OffHours through Google Play while using the same Google account that purchased the subscription. Open Premium and choose Restore purchases. Local schedules are not restored after an uninstall.
Cancel or manage a subscription
Open Google Play, choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Uninstalling OffHours does not cancel billing.
Still need help?
Use the developer support email shown on the OffHours Google Play listing. Include your Android version and OffHours version, but do not send email content, passwords, payment-card details, or purchase tokens.
OffHours never needs your Gmail password. Revoke Notification Access in Android settings if you stop using the app.
